PSC Partners Seeking a Cure: Kroger Gift Cards
Kroger gift cards are a great way to contribute to PSC Partners Seeking a Cure. This is a free program for our members. These are rechargeable cards, so only one is needed per shopper. Cards are $5 [check to Lee Bria] because they come preloaded with $5 to get started.

By purchasing this rechargeable grocery card, each time you fill it you will be contributing to our foundation. While the cost to you is free, Kroger will donate 5% on every hundred dollars you spend. Please fill your card right at your grocery store whenever it is almost empty so that it is ready for the next time you shop. You can fill it right at the cash register with either a credit card, check or cash for any amount up to $500.00 at a time. The cards are so easy to use and convenient. Once you fill them then you use it just like a credit card. It is a great feeling to know that every time you use it the PSC Partners foundation will benefit! All of us doing this together will make a big difference.
The cards can be used at the following stores:
- Fred Meyer
- Kroger
- City Market
- Fry's
- CalaBell
- Ralphs
- Dillons
- QFC
- Owen's
- King Soopers
- Smith's
- Baker's
- JayC
- Pay Less
Four easy steps:
1] At a participating grocery store, ask the cashier to fill your card with the amount you choose before you ring up your groceries.
2] Pay the cashier with any major credit card, cash or check.
3] Pay for your groceries by swiping your filled Kroger card.
4] Refill as frequently as you need to. Treat your cards like cash! Keep in a safe place.
In the event that you forgot to fill your card before having your groceries rung up, you can ask the cashier to fill your card after your transaction for your next shopping trip. Those of us with memory problems will forgive you.
Each receipt comes with the remaining balance printed right on it. I usually fill mine with $400.00 for the month. I check the balance each time at the cashiers so that when my balance is under $100.00 I refill my card. That way I am always ready for my next visit to the store.
That’s it and once you have seen how easy it is to use you can spread the word to family and friends so that they can help us too. However the cards cannot be purchased at the store and must be ordered through and registered to PSC Partners so that we will receive the corporate donation. Each person only needs one rechargeable card.
Questions? e-Mail me at leedeubert@gmail.com. Notify me of any lost or stolen cards.
Thanks to all of you for your willingness to help, and a big thanks to Kroger for their generosity.
Best regards and wishes for all of you.
